A single serving is the amount taken in one use. It may be equal to or part of the daily dose, depending on the instructions of the preparation.
A single serving versus the daily amount
The recommendation of one capsule twice daily means two separate single servings and a total of two capsules daily. The amount of an ingredient in one capsule does not provide ready information about the daily intake. Read the table header and how to use it. Do not transfer the entire portion yourself at one time or divide it differently just because the total number of capsules remains the same. The instructions also concern the organization of use and may contain additional conditions.
Reading the ingredient table
The content can be given per item, per specified number of drops or per recommended daily dose. Before comparing two supplements, reduce the data to a common basis. RWS percentages also refer to the quantities described in the table. The large number on the front of the package may refer to the weight of the extract or the entire mixture, not one portion. Careful reading of units protects against counting an ingredient twice or omitting part of the daily intake from another product.
Without increasing quantity
Do not exceed the recommendation to speed up the expected result. When you miss an application, do not automatically refill it with double the amount. Measure the liquid using the method described on the label. If you have any doubts about combining medications or changing the regimen, discuss them with your pharmacist or doctor. The size of the shopping set does not matter: three bottles of the same product do not mean a single serving three times larger. Similarly, an adult portion does not become an instruction for use in a child.
