Storage helps maintain the properties of the product over the period indicated on the packaging. Recommendations concern temperature, humidity, light, closure and accessibility for children.
First the label
A dry place does not mean any place in the apartment. Water vapor in the bathroom, a heating window sill or a car create conditions other than those provided by the manufacturer. Read the temperature range for a specific preparation. Do not put every capsule and liquid in the refrigerator: refrigeration is not always required and temperature differences can encourage moisture condensation when opening. Labeling is more important than habit. This also applies to preparations with similar names or a common ingredient.
Packaging after opening
Tight closing limits contact of the contents with the environment. The original packaging retains the batch number, date and instructions. When using the organizer, take into account the requirements and the possibility of clearly recognizing the preparation. Do not remove protective devices from the container without checking the instructions and do not put them in your mouth. The shelf life of a closed product is not always the time allowed after opening. Shorter periods indicated in the instructions may apply for liquids and specific formulations.
Stock and safe storage
Check if the multipack can be used within the scheduled time. Do not store supplements within the reach of children or in food containers. Moisture, change in smell or damage to the closure require explanation, not saving the contents by drying. Proper storage does not extend the date and does not justify increasing portions. If you have any doubts about a specific batch, report it to the seller or manufacturer, keeping the packaging identified. Appearance is not a sufficient method of assessing product quality.
