The first contact with perfume gives the beginning of the story, not the whole answer. A structured test helps you compare compositions and limits purchases based on first impressions. All you need are short notes and a small number of odors assessed in one trial.
Bar for first comparison
The blotter allows you to get to know the composition without applying several fragrances to your body. Sign it with the name and time of the test. Do not spray different perfumes on the same strip, because you will get a mixture that does not correspond to any of the compared products. Give yourself time to return to the sample.
Leather for wear evaluation
If the cosmetic is intended for application to the skin, use it according to the instructions. Choose one spot and don't put other scents on it. Do not self-test a product containing an ingredient to which you are known to be allergic. Do not test perfumes on irritated skin.
The note is better than the ranking
Evaluate the opening, subsequent character and wearing comfort. Instead of a general "nice", write down something specific: too sweet, sufficiently fresh, pleasant only after a while. Such comments allow you to come back to your own decision without having to recreate all your impressions from memory and other people's opinions.
When to stop trying
Burning, irritation or visible discomfort is not a stage that you have to wait to get to know the base. Discontinue use and follow product labeling. The home comfort test is not an allergy test and does not confirm the safety of each subsequent application.
